Yale University Faculty Podcasts Available on iTunes
Think of a podcast as a radio show. The radio show consists of different audio files that are the episodes. You can listen to these files on your computer, iPod or MP3 player.
Yale is using Apple's iTunes to distribute the University's podcast, all free of charge. You can download these episodes one at a time or you can 'subscribe' to the entire series.
When you subscribe, each time you open iTunes, all new episodes will automatically download to your computer. And if you have an iPod and you subscribe, every time you sync it to iTunes on your computer, Yale's podcast will be downloaded for listening on the go. Of course you need to have iTunes on your computer, so if you don't already have it, download it now. It's free and installs quickly and easily.
